ROTOR KILN FOR THE COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF THE THERMAL UNITS' REFRACTORIES

Abstract

The results are presented for the refractory concretes which have been brought to the comparative tests in the laboratory-size rotary kiln, provided that the kiln could simulate the conditions which actually take place during operation in the thermal units. This allows to foretell equitably the efficiency of the various refractories' application as the lining material in the thermal unit of any kind. Also it is possible to carry out the dynamical investigation of the refractories of any kind in the course of the single experiment and thus to get the comparative analysis data in the specific corrosion environment.
