Abstract

It was shown that the durability and motion resistance of the tubular conveyor belt depend on the belt deformation at the place of contact with the balls. The deformation of the tubular conveyor belt with the ball support is regarded in the article. On base of the strength of material factors and the elasticity theory the formulas were derived which allow to calculate the belt bending under the supporting balls influence both in the transverse and longitudinal cross sections by means of the specific physical and mechanical characteristics substitution.
