Abstract

The   technology  requirements  for  the  glass  melting furnace  bottom  design are  posed  in  the  article. The  boundary  conditions for  calculation and  designing are  defined for  the gl ass  furnace melting tank  brickwork. The  energy eff icient construction is  developed for  the  heat-insulated bottom which provides the environmental average heat losses reducing to 800  watt per square meter.  Ill. 2. Ref.  2.
