Abstract
The investigating results are given in the article for the temperature influence on quartzite's enthalpy and heat-absorption capacity changing which leads to its crystal lattice distortions. The quartzite is used in the linings of the normal-frequency induction furnaces. The changing regularities are revealed for the heat-absorption capacity and for the enthalpy taking place in course of the furnace operation. The connection is defined between these changing regularities and both phase transformations in quartzitecrystal lattice and material's properties which affect the lining resistance. Ill. 4. Ref. 3.
