METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF REFRACTORIES SLAGAND CLINKER-RESISTANCE FOR ROTARY KILNS

Abstract
In the «Magnesit Group» Ltd a high-temperature drumtype plant has been developed and the new method was introduced to determine slag and clinker-resistance of refractory materials using dynamic model. The method allows both the estimating objectively the clinker-resistance of cement-type refractories with different compositions and the efficiency of using these refractories in thermal vessels.
