THE TECHNIQUE OF NON-METALLIC INCLUSIONS REMOVING FROM ALUMINUM DEOXIDIZED STEELS

Abstract
The features of ladle processing for various steels, the low-carbon, desulphurized and resulphurized steels including, are regarded in the article as well as the various variants for minimization of the non-metallic inclusions content in these products. The purity of steel can be controlled by the improvement for the technology of metal tapping from the steel-teeming ladle, by the adjusting of the processing time for the metal bath in the ladle, by the adding of various alloying agents, as well as by the soft bubbling and adding calcium in the liquid steel. The presence of both the melt steel-dissolved calcium and the metal impurities modified by the calcium additions inhibit the depositions formations. Upon that, the purpose which is posed while the ladle processing is not so much the inclusions content minimization, but rather the inclusions content optimization. Ill. 8. Ref. 7.
