Abstract

The  co-precipitation method was  used to  synthesize the aluminum-yttrium garnet (AYG) powder activated by europium  and  doped by boron. The  powders obtained can  be used for high temperature functional ceramics production. It is shown that the  boron addition intensifies the  particle growth and  increases the  photo-luminescence magnitude. This is closely  related to the boron influence on the mechanism   of   powder  liquid-phase  sintering.  Ill. 5.   Ref. 19. Tab. 1.
