THE INFL UENCE OF WATER ON THE Α-AL2O3 CRYSTALLIZING WITHIN ALUMINA GELS

Abstract

The resulting investigations are presented for phase's transformations in course of α-Al2O3 synthesis out of dehydrated alumina gel. It was shown that removing of water from the precursor infl uences essentially on the transformation chain in the synthesis temperature range. The crystallization temperature of α-Al2O3 comparing to that of the gel deposited from the water solution reduces by 300 °C, that is from 1200 till 900 °C. Ill. 2. Ref. 9. Tab. 1.
