Abstract
The temperature influence on the interplanar distance variations was investigated by X-Ray method for crystal lattice of quartzite used in the linings of induction and crucible furnaces of power-line frequency. The regularities of the interplanar distance variations were found and the variations were graphed. The relation between the interplanar distance variations and the properties of materials affecting the stability of induction furnaces' lining was established. Ill. 4. Ref. 5. Tab. 1.
