

Periclase-pleonaste refractories for rotary kilns for cement clinker firing

Abstract
The composition of periclase-pleonaste refractories alternative to imported ones has been developed. The resistance of refractories to the influence of cement clinker has been tested and the depth of impregnation of the structure with aggressive corrosive agent has been determined. Durability testing of the new product type in rotary kilns for the production of refractories and cement has been carried out. The possibility of industrial use of the developed refractories in lining of rotary kilns for cement clinker firing for sintering and transition zones with unstable coating, working under conditions of intensive thermal, mechanical and chemical stresses has been confirmed.
