Abstract

The article analyzes the availability and state of the refractory raw materials market, the causes of price fluctuations and the development of established methods of forming a pricing policy for raw materials and refractory materials, which is actually determined by China, which is a monopolist on a global scale in the production of relevant materials. The potential of Russia and the practice of the first steps of the refractory industry in implementing the transition to «Industry 4.0», in expanding the practice of providing services in metallurgy, as well as the development of a closed-cycle economy in the production and use of refractory materials were discussed.
