Abstract
The results of thermocyclic tests of a number of products of higher refractoriness are given. It is shown that the most resistant to cyclic variable thermal loads are periclase products from fused powders coated with ZrO2. The structure of corundum products in the process of thermocyclic testing significantly degrades due to recrystallization and the formation of new phases. Products made of fused periclase powders modified with ZrO2 are recommended for the organization of the lining and heat exchange tips of test benches that are operated under conditions of variable thermal loads in pulsed piston systems.
